TiPES is a horizon 2020 funded project that will run from September 2019 and 4 years on. The main object is to better quantify the tipping elements that are present in the climate system and to ensure that climate projections also include these.
This will be our first meeting and we will plan in more details the content of the working packages and the deliveries as well as to spend time to get to know each other.
The meeting is short, so to be as efficient as possible it is important that you have all read the final version of the project description prior to the meeting.
If you are new to TiPES, eg. not part of the initial proposal (just hired), please bring a poster, so we can get to know you better.
Please plan for your own accomodation and travel. The meeting will take place at Institut Henri Poincaré, 11 Rue Pierre et Marie Curie, 75005 Paris, France
Please note that dinner is not included, but you can find a list of restaurants close by here; http://www.ihp.fr/fr/infospratiques/restaurants and we of cause encourage networking between institutions.
We are looking forward to fruitful discussions and exciting plans
