Ice Core Analysis Techniques (ICAT) PhD school-2023

The ICAT PhD school (2 ECTS) is aimed at PhD students and junior postdocs who conduct ice core analysis or are users of ice core data (glaciologists, oceanographers, climate modelers, earth scientists).
ICAT aims to educate a new generation of ice core researchers and foster a collaborative environment for future glaciological projects.
This course will educate young scientists regarding new methods developed for the analysis of ice cores with regard to climate research, with dedicated theoretical and laboratory exercise sessions.
INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS: Liz Thomas (BAS), Theo Jens (PSI) and Andrea Spolaor (Venice)
and local LECTURERS INCLUDING: Steffen Bo Hansen, Bo Vinther, Sune Olander Rasmussen, Thomas Blunier, Jens Hesselbjerg, Christine Hvidberg, Helle Kjær, Julien Westhoff, Aslak Grinsted, and Anders Svensson
APPLICATION: The application deadline is April 15th 2023. And we expect to let people know soon after.
REGISTRATION FEE: The course has a registration fee of 100 euro, which will cover lectures, excursion, social and lunches.
