This school is for Ph.D. students (and the occasional advanced master student!) in physics and other data centric sciences. The application of Machine Learning to physics (and science in general) is an interdisciplinary field, that is developing very fast and in exciting directions.
In addition to lectures and exercises on the various subjects, you will also get a chance to discuss and work on your own data/problem, if you happen to have/bring this to the school. But this is of course not mandatory.
NOTE: The course is free of charge for students from the 4EU+ alliance (Prague, Heidelberg, Paris (Panthéon-Assas and Sorbonne), Copenhagen, Geneva, Milan, Warsaw), AIPHY and for PhD students enrolled at universities that are part of the Danish open market for PhD courses. For students from other universities there is a fee of 3.000 DKK (400 Euro) covering tuition, catering during the course, and social events.
The fee can be paid by credit card via this link: https://eventsignup.ku.dk/between-models-and-reality-ff
