Tycho Science Day 2026
Join us for a one-day workshop dedicated to advancing scientific research through high-performance computing. Over the past years the user community of Tycho has grown tremendously to over 200 active users. Concurrently, the hardware has expanded and now encompass 16,000 CPU cores, 21 data center class GPUs, and more than a PB of storage.
This event is a celebration of our community and highlights the capabilities of the Tycho supercomputer and its role in enabling cutting-edge discoveries across disciplines.
We hope it will be your opportunity to
- Learn more about how different groups carry out their science with Tycho.
- Learn new ways to use Tycho.
- Expand your network across the research groups using Tycho.
The morning program features scientific talks from leading researchers who use Tycho for modelling, analysis, and data-intensive science across physics. In the afternoon, all participants can join two technical workshop tracks, where we will host hands-on session for both beginners and seasoned users.
The day concludes with an late afternoon reception, providing an opportunity for networking and collaboration.
Scientific talks in the morning from 9.00 - 12.00 will be hosted at the Margrethe Bohr Auditorium. The technical workshop in the afternoon from 13.00-16.30 are in the rooms NBB 1.01.B.080 and 1.01.B.082 located right next to the Inge Lehmann Courtyard.
