News: When you arrive at the Niels Bohr Institute, Blegdamsvej 17, 2100 Copenhagen Ø., you will receive a blue folder in which you will find practical information regarding the conference. The registration will take place in Auditorium B, which is situated in building C, from 9:00-10:00. Coffee and Danish pastries will be served during the registration. You can see a map of the Niels Bohr Institute here. Please enter through building C. First meeting, April 2-3 2009, NBIA, Copenhagen Full funding for all PhD students and for post docs from the Nordic countries. There will most likely also be full funding for all senior researchers from the Nordic countries, at least for this first meeting. Please contact Sarah Pearson, nordforsk(at)dark-cosmology.dk, for all inquiries by the 25th March at 12:00 (noon). Registration is simply made by sending an email to Sarah. Please indicate if you are student/postdoc/staff. Please indicate roughly your field (e.g. nuclear/theory, or astro/observation/alternative gravity, or similar) The schedule is expected to appear relatively soon, it may look like this: - April 1st, Evening, Dinner-meeting (steering committee only). - April 2nd, 10.00 am, Meeting starts - many 5-10 minutes talks. Social dinner in the Evening at Quattro Fontane. - April 3rd, 10.00 am - continued meetings, anticipated end at 3pm. We will try to accomodate most people in the same hotel, so please arrange your stay through Sarah. There will be available office space for collaborations and excellent coffee and (hopefully) homemade cake - we want to focus on the essential aspects of research.
The coordinating group formally consists of L. Bergstrom, O. Elgaroy, K. Enqvist, S. Hansen, S. Hofmann, K. Rummukainen, and most universities in the nordic countries are included.
