Title: Color Glass Condensate and forward physics
Speaker: Professor Tuomas Lappi (University of Jyväskylä)
Abstract:
High energy scattering in QCD in the gluon saturation regime can be described in the Color Glass Condensate (CGC) effective theory approach. This talk will introduce the concept of gluon saturation and the CGC effective theory. We will then outline some recent theoretical advances in moving to NLO accuracy in QCD perturbation theory for DIS and proton-nucleus collisions. We will also discuss the effects caused by strong color fields for non-flow azimuthal particle correlations in small system collisions.
