How to reach Copenhagen

Københavns Lufthavn in Kastrup (CPH) is the international airport of Copenhagen. It is connected to the city center through the Metro Line 2, with trains every 4-6 min from 5am to midnight, and every 15 min the rest of the night (12am-5am). Close to the airport there is also a DSB railway station with regional trains every ~20 min (during the day). These trains are directed to a different part of the city: depending on your arrival time and the position of your hotel this solution might be faster than the metro.

For those who prefer to travel by train, they will almost certainly arrive at the central station Københavns H

Going back to the airport or the central station from the conference venue (see below) is quite easy, because in front of it there is a Metro station of Line 3 called Vibenshus Runddel. Usually it takes ~35 min to the get to the airport and ~15 min to the central station (to the airport, the connection with Line 2 is Kongens Nytorv).

How to reach the DAWN Winter School

The venue is situated within the DTU Lyngby Campus, in the surroundings of Copenhagen. The exact address is Anker Engelunds Vej #1, Lyngby. It can be reached by car, public transportation, and even by bike (see this link).

Recommended accommodations

We do not suggest specific hotels, because those suggestions wouldn't fit the different standards and budget of every participant. You can rely on websites like Trivago to get feedback and select your lodging. Participants who would like a short commute between hotel and conference venue may want to check the Zleep Hotel at Lyngby. Those who prefer being closer to the city center should start searching from the Østerbro area: bus lines 15E and 150S make that neighbor well connected to DTU.
