CURRENT THEMES 2025:
The week of August 25th-29th, 2025, the Niels Bohr International Academy at the Niels Bohr Institute will host its annual workshop "Current Themes", which brings together world experts and creative minds to discuss current themes and recent advances in physics.
In the spirit of Niels Bohr's annual theoretical physics meetings, there will be no concrete theme. The idea is to provide a stimulating environment with few talks per day, but plenty of time for informal discussions. A broad range of topics will be addressed this year, including aspects of gravity, black holes, astrophysics, and particle physics.
The meeting will take place in the historical Auditorium A of the Niels Bohr Institute where quantum mechanics was created, and new ideas in physics are still being vividly discussed.
