Multipliciy in Young Stars is held in Copenhagen, on August 26 - August 29 2025.
Astronomy is entering the age of large programs at ALMA and VLA that are building up a statistically significant database of protostellar multiples in nearby star-forming regions, as well as high cadence surveys that are increasingly capturing episodic events in protostellar and pre-main sequence star systems. Computational astrophysics is now allowing simulations to capture both the large-scale cloud physics while reaching AU scale resolution to accurately capture stellar dynamics. Finally, JWST is opening up new windows to study the distribution and composition of dust and gas around young stars and thereby providing important insights into the physical and chemical structure and evolution of young stellar systems and their disks.
