Analytic means are applied to solve for all harmonics of the flow: which then are applied to calculation of the correlation functions and the power spectrum. Like in the Big Bang, acoustic peaks are predicted. Sounds and matter excitation from jet quenching will also be discussed.

  4. Prof. Robert PISARSKI (Brookhaven National Lab.)
    08/11/2011, 09:30
I give a physical description of an effective model for the deconfining phase transition. Detailed results are given for the pure glue theory, and a qualitative description given of QCD.

We discuss an ab initio approach to the formation and thermalization of quark-gluon matter in heavy ion collisions. The phenomenological implications of our studies are emphasized.
