Getting from the airport to the city centre

The easiest way to get from the airport to the city centre is to use the Metro, located in terminal 3, past the entrance to the trains. You can buy a ticket on the ground floor level at the vending machines or at the desk. You will need a 3-zone ticket, which costs 36,00 DKK.

For better value (and to avoid fumbling around with money all the time) you can buy a 2-zone 10-trip "klippekort" (for 145 DKK) which you have to punch TWICE in the yellow machines (located near the metro itself) to travel from the airport to the city centre. Within the bounds of the city centre, this can then be used by punching once. This option might be more efficient for those who plan to use the bus daily while in Copenhagen, e.g. those staying at Hotel Løven.
