Self-organization is an important concept from physics that emphasizes the emergence of complex patterns without detailed central plan. This meeting explores contemporary attempts to view cell differentiation in terms of self-organized systems. The meeting strives to encourage inspiring case stories for how individual and/or collective developmental decisions can be understood from simple rules for regulation within and communication between cells.

Dear participants, please remember to register!

Hotels
For invited speakers we have reserved rooms at the Hotel Esplanaden. The hotel is located within walking distance from Niels Bohr Institute (~30 min walk). 
Other participants can choose to stay at either Hotel Esplanaden or Ni Smaa Hjem (http://www.9smaahjem.dk/) that is within 15 min walking distance from the Niels Bohr Institute.

Reimbursment
Transportation costs will be reimbursed for invited speakers. More info at the workshop site. 

The programme is subject to minor changes.

Lunch and dinner 
Lunch is provided for all of the days of the workshop. There will be tapas dinner for all participants on August 28 and Conference Dinner for invited speakers on August 29.
