General information:
Participants of the workshop are expected to arrive in Munich on the evening of Sunday, March 8th. Departure is on Thursday, March 12th after breakfast.
Arrival at Munich Airport (MUC):
Upon arrival at Munich airport, the city center is best reached by train (S-Bahn). Follow the signs S-Bahn at the main terminal of the airport to the train station. You can use both S-Bahn lines, S1 and S8 which will get you to downtown Munich in approx. 1 hour. To reach the mk|hotel München Max-Weber-Platz, we recommend taking the line S8 to the station
‘Ostbahnhof’. Then change to the underground line (U-Bahn) U5 Laimer Platz and get of after one stop at 'Max-Weber-Platz’.
Arrival at Munich Train Station (München Hauptbahnhof):
Upon arrival, follow the signs to the underground (U-Bahn) station and take line U4 Arabellapark or U5 Neuperlach Süd. Get off the train at the fourth stop ‘Max-Weber-Platz’ to reach the mk|hotel München Max-Weber-Platz.
Arrival at Central Bus Terminal (ZOB):
Take the any train (S-Bahn) in the downtown direction and get off at the first stop 'Hauptbahnhof'. There follow the signs to the underground (U-Bahn), and take line U4 Arabellapark or U5 Neuperlach Süd. Get off the train at the fourth stop ‘Max-Weber-Platz’ to reach the mk|hotel München Max-Weber-Platz.
