Lightning talks: How Are Ideas Born?
Creativity in Art and Science in the Age of AI
Friday 11 December 2026 · Copenhagen

We invite researchers and artists to give a 3-minute lightning talk that adds their perspective to the symposium's conversation about creativity. We especially welcome those at an early stage of their career: the lightning talks are a chance to share your ideas and introduce yourself and your work to the symposium's community.

Example topics:
- Tell the story of how one of your ideas was born
- Reflect on your own creative process
- Describe how working across disciplines, between art and science or between fields of science, has sparked an idea
- Share how AI is changing the way you research or create, for better or worse
- Pose an open question or provocation about the future of creative work

The format is completely free: one slide, an object, a short demonstration, a piece of art, or just you and a story. Selected talks will be placed across the day's sessions. Be creative! :)

Deadline: 2 November 2026, 15:00 CET. Selected speakers will be notified by 11 November 2026.
