June in Copenhagen is a very busy time and it has proved challenging to identify suitable options which can accommodate everyone with close access to both the workshop venue and bars and restaurants for the evenings.
We have worked with the following four hotels to arrange rooms (5 nights, Sunday, June 15 - June 20, 2014) for IWW12 participants. We are aware that the hotel prices for the first two hotels are higher than prices secured for previous workshops, so we have also included the third and fourth hotels as choices where the room costs are somewhat lower. All of the hotels are within walking distance (20-30 min walk) of the meeting venue and are fairly close to each other. The distance between the hotels is less than the distance to the venue from any of the hotels. It's about a 5 minute walk between the Ibsens Hotel and the Kong Arthur Hotel. The Avenue Hotel and CabInn Hotel are about a 10-12 minute walk from the Ibsens and Kong Arthur Hotels. There is also good public transportation that can be used to get to the meeting venue from each hotel.
Please Note: If you are coming earlier than June 15 or staying after the workshop ends, you will need to ask the hotel about room availability.
