Practical Information

Getting from the airport to the city centre in general

The easiest way to get from the airport to the city centre is to use the recently opened metro line, located in terminal 3, past the entrance to the trains. You can buy a ticket on the ground floor level at the vending machines or at the desk. You will need a 3-zone ticket. Note that there are no ticketing barriers. Beware though of the frequent ticket inspectors on the metro!

For better value (and to avoid fumbling around with money all the time) you can buy a *2 zone* 'klippekort' which you have to punch TWICE in the yellow machines (located near the metro itself) to travel from the airport to the city centre. Within the bounds of the city centre, this can then be used by punching once.

Further slightly outdated information on how to get to the institute can be found here.
