Welcome to YAGN21
Young Astronomers on Galactic Nuclei (YAGN) is an annual series of informal meetings of Ph.D. students and postdocs working on supermassive black holes and active galactic nuclei in general, with the aim of promoting exchanges of ideas and new collaborations amongst young scientists.
YAGN15 was held at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca (Italy) on October 29-30, 2015.
YAGN16 was held at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris (France) on November 17-18, 2016.
YAGN17 was held at the Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón (Spain) on October 23-25, 2017.
YAGN18 was held at the Eötvös Loránd University (Hungary) on October 29-31, 2018.
YAGN19 was held at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (Spain) on September 23-25, 2019.
YAGN20 was held at the Niels Bohr Institutet (Denmark) on June 8-10, 2020 on Zoom on October 28-30, 2020.
YAGN21 will be held at the Niels Bohr Institutet (Denmark) and on Zoom on September 1-3, 2021. We are planning to have a hybrid event (both in-presence and remote). However, if circumstances don't allow for it, we will switch to an entirely remote meeting.
