Accommodation

Participants are expected to arrange their accommodation in Copenhagen themselves. However, we have made a number of block bookings in two nearby and convenient hotels, which offer reduced rates to participants of the meeting. If you wish to take advantage of these bookings, please indicate your preference during registration. We will then send you an email with the booking reference to use when contacting the hotel. Note that  you will have to contact the hotel yourself and provide them with your precise dates!

The hotels and prices are the following:
  • Ni Små Hjem  (6 single rooms): 600 DKK/night (with breakfast).
  • Hotel Nora (20 single rooms) 900 DKK/night (with breakfast).

Thanks to financial support from Nordita, we are able to contribute towards the accommodation costs of PhD students from the Nordic countries, including those from Groningen and Hamburg. In particular, we expect to cover two nights (Thursday and Friday), so please ask first in case you need to stay longer. One possibility is to stay at Hotel Løven, where we have reserved a number of rooms. It is located centrally, close to the main train station. From there one can take a bus that stops close to the institute. The advantage of this option is that you won't have to pay first and get reimbursed later. If you are a PhD student, please indicate when registering whether you wish to stay at Hotel Løven. We will then email you the booking reference to use when contacting the hotel. Although we will pay for the rooms directly, you still need to contact the hotel to provide them with your exact dates!

More possibilities for hotels can be found here.
